Once a year the street comes together — and with a tent in the middle of the road, the party is guaranteed, whatever the weather.
The street party is a Danish classic: the tables go up in the middle of the road, the grills light up, and the kids run around long past bedtime. Our long party tents are made for exactly this — they follow the shape of the street, and tables and benches make it easy to seat 60 neighbours.
Split the bill: a typical street-party package for 60 people costs less than DKK 100 per household when the street's 30 houses share it. That's cheaper than a rotating breakfast-rolls arrangement.
The street-party package
The classic setup for 40–80 neighbours:
- 6×12 m party tent — stands securely on the road with concrete feet
- Long tables and folding chairs in long rows
- Draught beer rig plus cooler boxes with ice
- Long tables and bench seating running down the street
- Popcorn or slush-ice machine for the kids
Remember the permit
Closing the road requires permission from the municipality (and the police for through roads) — apply 4–6 weeks in advance. The tent is anchored with concrete blocks so the asphalt isn't damaged, and we can provide a layout plan for the application.

+How do we split the payment?
One neighbour books and pays; most use MobilePay requests for the rest. An invoice to the street association can also be arranged.
+What if it rains during the street party?
Then you'll be glad you have the tent! Sides are included and can be zipped on if the weather turns — so the party continues in the dry.
+Can you cater to the kids too?
We have tables, chairs and vendor stalls for the candy stand. We don't have bouncy castles or entertainment, but ask us — we know who does.
