Tent for christenings
A christening doesn't need a function room — with a smaller tent in the garden, you can hold the celebration at home, close to the pram and the changing table.
A christening is often a party for 20–35 guests, and our smaller tents fit perfectly: 4×6 m for the intimate lunches and 6×9 m if both families turn out in force. The tent is set up the day before, so you have time to set the table.
Combine with fine white tablecloths, porcelain tableware and coffee cups for the cake — plus the kids' table with small chairs for the slightly older children in the party.
Recommended setup for 25 guests
For the typical christening lunch, we recommend:
- Party tent 4×6 m (up to 20 guests) or 6×9 m (up to 40)
- 3–4 long tables with white damask tablecloths
- White folding chairs — optionally with chair covers
- Dinner and cake plates, cutlery, glasses and coffee cups
- Kids' table with small chairs for siblings and cousins
Easy before and after
Everything is delivered together on Friday and collected on Monday. Just rinse off the tableware — we handle the washing-up and laundering of tablecloths. So you can spend your energy on the guests (and the little guest of honour).

+Can we rent a tent for just one day?
Our standard prices are per weekend (Friday–Monday), and that applies even if you only use the tent on Sunday. Weekday rental can be arranged — give us a call.
+What does a complete christening setup cost?
A 4×6 m tent, tables, chairs, tablecloths and tableware for 20 guests typically comes to around 2,800–3,500 kr. incl. delivery — see the exact price in your cart.
+Do you have high chairs for the youngest?
We have kids' tables with chairs for 2–8 year-olds. We don't keep high chairs for babies in regular stock — ask us and we'll find a solution.
+Can the tent stand in a small city garden?
Yes, the 4×6 m tent only needs about 5×7 m of open space. We're happy to come by and measure up if you're unsure.
